Recently we had the dedication service for the Hostel Campus and what a great time in the Lord we had. We invited 200 for the dedication service and 400 came. We now have 5 buildings that are completed, 2 dormitories, 2 toilets, showers and one dining room with kitchen. All 5 buildings are paid for, our property is paid for and we give Praises to the Almighty God for these facilities. We have an awesome’ task because we will have some of these children for 12 years and the responsibility is on our shoulders to see they are raised in the Christian faith and are taught the Word, whereby they may grow up and be a witness for Jesus. | The Governor of our providence was an honored guest and he made some very surprising statements in his dedication speech, especially being a Buddhist. He stated that he was very proud of our work and the accomplishments that we had made towards drug prevention. He stated as far as he was concerned, there were no differences between the tribal people and the Thai people and they should all be treated the same. Normally, the tribal people are looked down on and it took a lot of courage for him to make a statement like this. The Governor stated that he was hopeful that they would be able to join in with us and that the Thai government would be able to send some of the Thai people to our rehabilitation clinic. | |

- HOSTEL MOVE-IN |

It would have been worth the price your airline ticket just to be at the hostel the first day the children came home from school and actually moved into their new facilities. They came running down the hill to the new hostel, screaming with joy and anxious to get in and see what a bed really looked like. Ninety percent of the children have never slept in a bed. |

All are important, but I must mention Children’s Medical Ministries and it’s CEO, Brother Bill Collins. He has been so much help to us in so many different ways and we just thank the Lord for letting him cross our path. Bill has been to visit us in Thailand on several occasions and he is really concerned about the growth of the children in the world. John McMichen |

Also, I want to mention the Mennonites, who laid all the block in the five buildings that we just completed, at no cost to us. They gave of their time and talents for one reason because they love Jesus Christ. Brother Alvin W. Miller and Brother Nathaniel Kramer made two trips to Thailand to assist us. They laid all the blocks on the first visit and then came back and assisted us in doing the finishing touches, so we could complete all of the buildings on time. We thoroughly enjoyed these two. We had a lot of fun together and we did a lot of hard work together. John McMichen |

| Mr. Dan Mays, who is on our Board of Directors and Rev. and Mrs. Chip Woodruff, were a great help on this visit. Rev. Chip is the pastor of Spring Branch Baptist Church in Baxley, Georgia along with his wife, Holly. They are also nurses which was a tremendous blessing on this visit. | |
